CMA Testing and Certification Laboratories (CMA Testing) is a leading independent conformity assessment organisation established in 1979 by the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, which is one of the most representative and oldest industrial associations in the territory. Being a non-profitable organisation with a mission to provide quality testing, inspection and certification services to the local community and international customers, CMA Testing is recognised in the industry and accredited under the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS)*.

Engaging a team of experts coming from various technical and professional fields with high integrity, CMA Testing is equipped with sophisticated testing instruments and advanced facilities.

Our testing scope covers cosmetic products, food, food contact articles, chemicals, traditional Chinese medicine, materials, toys, electronic & electrical appliances, textile and garment, etc. Our professional and full-scale quality assurance services assist brands, traders and manufacturers to safeguard their interest by rendering trustworthy testing services such as heavy metal tests, microbial tests, etc.

International Cosmetic (Asia Pacific) Joint Development Centre (ICJDC), established in 2004, ICJDC offers professional consulting services to cosmetic enterprises, chemists, practitioners, and raw materials suppliers in regard to international regulations and standards. ICJDC is the authorized agent in handling licensing issues of cosmetic products for China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry and China Standardization Technology Committee of Fragrance Flavour & Cosmetic. ICJDC offers a wide range of expertise, particularly in professional advice on regulatory requirements and licensing issues, technical support, production development and education program.

ICJDC achieves full support from the following organizations:

  • China Association of Fragrance Flavour and Cosmetic Industry (CAFFCI), an industrial association of national levelapproved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, PRC.
  • School of Chemical & material Engineering, Southern YangTze University, where incubates half of the cosmetics chemists in China.
  • Hong Kong Society of Cosmetic Chemists (HKSCC), the affiliate Hong Kong members of International FederationSocieties of Cosmetic Chemists (IFSCC).
